Kata beach accommodation
The best Kata beach accommodation that I stayed in was the Avista Resort. The moment you step inside the resort, be prepared to be pampered. The hotel has a regular welcoming committee of sorts; they give you an ice cold drink and a bunch of flowers as a welcome greeting.
The check in is hassle free. The staffs have a smile on their face and speak reasonably good English. The resort is set on a hill and surrounded with tropical gardens. The chirping of the tropical bugs can lull you to sleep at night. It is very picturesque and tranquil.
Avista Resort has a spa which provides Thai Chakras treatment, various rejuvenating massages, herbal rubs and baths.
The pool can be a focal point for lounging. The pool bar is excellent with a wide selection of drinks. The pool itself has landscaped waterfalls and looks over the turquoise waters of the sea.
The wine cellar bar in Avista resort is a nice place to relax at the end of the day. I will definitely go back whenever I am in Phuket.
