I'd go to Hawaii.
Because I'd LOVE to go there:).
But I think you should do some searching on the internet and learn more about the places before you decide.
Maybe you'll think Bahamas sounds more interesting then Hawaii or Hawaii sounds more interesting then the Bahamas.

Have Fun:).

This is the one I took:

Leaves from Miami and goes to the Bahamas. I had a LOT of fun on this one. You go from Miami to Nassau to Cococay to Key West and then back to Miami. I'm 26 and the crowd was 21-30 when I went. In June they are going for $259 which is a sweet deal.

If you choose this one, you need to check out the pool deck..soooo nice.

the bahamas is definitely cheaper, and although it is nice, Hawaii is so much more amazing, it is beautiful, so much more to do and more places to visit..are you looking for this june? or 2010?

for this year try norwegian cruise line:

royal caribbdean is another great line, and I would even consider doing the mexican riviera cruise from LA over a Bahamas cruise that leaves from florida...=&promoType=&hasSenior=&hasMilitary=&hasFireandPolice=&state=

book with a travel agent or direct from the cruise!

Enjoy!

Go to the bahamas. Hawaii would be fun but the Bahamas is a real amazing experience. I went on a cruise with carnival cruiselines about 2 years ago and my favorite part was in the bahamas.

Ultimately it comes down to what you enjoy. I'm in my late 20's and enjoy the bahamas. These two locations are very different, I'm not sure on current costs but you can typically get trips to the Bahamas a bit cheaper. Time of year and your tolerance for heat is also a factor. The summer months in the Bahamas can be hot where Hawaii is more consistent. I personally enjoy the heat so I don't mind going in the summer but if the heat or humidity bothers you you may want to wait until the winter months for the Bahamas. The following website has a number of pictures of the Sandals resort in the Bahamas along with some attractions on Paradise Island.

Why would you want to meet the ship in Hawaii? Why not just take a cruise out of LA or San Diego?

It really depends on where you want to go. In general there is more competition and therefore cruises out of Florida are cheaper but that doesn't include air fare across the entire US which will probably end up making it far more expensive.

Personally I don't understand why those are your 2 choices but if you don't have a passport, Hawaii is best. I am not a big fan of the Bahamas.

As for cruising in June I think that's the perfect time to cruise. I would never avoid cruising June-Dec b/c of the remote possibility of a hurricane. I've been on ships and sailed around hurricanes several times. You just detour your route a few miles. Besides the hurricane could be 1500 miles away hitting Virginia when you are down past Cuba--that's like not going to Paris b/c of a snow storm in Latvia.

As for what to do on the ship, first limit your ship down and then worry about shore excursions. Different lines are known for different excursions so you can't look over their shore excursions before you've picked the cruise. Check out cruisecritic.com for reviews on ships when you are narrowing down your choices.

Go to the Bahamas, just be sure you know that June is Hurricane season. Too bad you picked that month. If you wait a while, then October is a fabulous month to cruise round trip from L.A. to Hawaii with Princess cruises. Then you would not have to worry about hurricanes, plus you would not have to fly.
